Getting started #
Welcome to Matchday Live. Your club's channel is its own branded home for sport, where fans watch your matches live and catch up with replays on demand. The admin dashboard is where you run that channel: you set up your branding, organise your teams and competitions, decide how fans pay, and schedule and broadcast every match.
This page gives you a tour of the dashboard and walks you through the path most clubs follow when they first set up.
You do not need any technical knowledge to run your channel. Everything described here is done by pointing and clicking in the dashboard. Broadcasting itself happens through your own camera and software, which you connect to the dashboard when you go live.
Signing in #
You reach the dashboard at your club's admin web address, using the email and password set up for your account. If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot password link on the sign-in screen to reset it.
If your club runs more than one channel, you can switch between them from the channel selector once you are signed in. Each channel keeps its own teams, plans, streams and fans separate, so always check you are working in the right one before you make changes.
A tour of the dashboard #
The main menu down the side of the dashboard groups everything into a few clear areas.
Streams Create, schedule and broadcast your live matches. This is where you set up each fixture and go live.
On-demand Your library of replays and recorded video. Every live stream is saved here automatically once it ends.
Studio The live control panel you open during a broadcast to monitor your feed and keep an eye on who is watching.
Teams and leagues The teams and competitions you stream, so matches are tagged and easy for fans to find.
Plans The subscriptions and one-off prices fans pay to watch your content.
Fans The people who have signed up to your channel, their subscriptions and their access.
Revenue Your sales, transactions and earnings across the channel.
Settings Your channel's name, branding and general configuration.

Your first week #
If you are setting up a brand new channel, this is the path that gets you to your first broadcast. You only need to do the first three steps once.
- ●
Set up your channel
Add your club's name, upload your logo and set your brand colours so the channel looks like yours. See Channel setup.
- ●
Add your teams and competitions
Create the teams you play and the leagues or cups you take part in. This lets you tag each match so fans can find it easily. See Teams and Leagues & competitions.
- ●
Decide how fans pay
Set up at least one plan. You might offer a season subscription, charge a one-off price for a single match, or make some content free. See Plans.
- ●
Schedule your first match
Create a stream for an upcoming fixture, set the date and time, and link the teams playing. Fans will see it in their upcoming list. See Scheduling streams.
- ●
Go live
On match day, connect your camera and broadcasting software to the stream, check your preview, and go live. See Live setup.
- ●
Review and replay
After the final whistle, your broadcast is saved as a replay in your on-demand library, and you can review how many fans watched. See On-demand.
