Getting started #

What is Matchday Live?

Matchday Live is how you watch your club's live and on-demand sport. Every club runs its own channel, with its own fixtures and video library, so when you watch your team you are watching on their channel rather than on one big shared service. See Getting started.

How do I find my club's channel?

Look on your club's main website for a link such as Watch, TV, or Live, or search the App Store or Google Play for your club's name. Both take you straight to their channel. Once you are there, bookmark it or keep the app on your home screen for next time.

Do I need an account to watch?

Yes. You create a free account with your email address, and then you choose how you want to access content. Setting up takes a couple of minutes and is covered step by step in Getting started.

I did not get my confirmation email. What now?

Wait a moment, then check your spam or junk folder. If it still has not arrived, ask for a new code from the confirmation screen. Codes expire quickly, so always use the most recent one.

Watching #

What can I watch?

Live matches as they happen, plus on-demand content such as full-match replays, highlights, and interviews. Exactly what is available is set by your club. See Watching.

Can I watch a match after it has finished?

Usually, yes. Once a live match ends, your club prepares the replay and highlights, which appear in the channel's collections a little while later. Highlights normally turn up within a few hours, with the full replay following once it is ready.

Why is there a delay between real life and my screen?

A few seconds between the live action and your screen is completely normal for live streaming. It is the time the video takes to reach you. If you fall further behind, look for a Go to live control to jump back to the latest moment.

How do I get the best picture?

Watch over a steady Wi-Fi or wired connection, and leave the player on Auto so it matches the quality to your connection automatically. If the picture keeps pausing, choosing a lower quality gives a smoother watch. See Devices & playback.

Are subtitles available?

Subtitles are available on content that has them, and you turn them on or off from the player controls. Not every video has subtitles, so the option only appears where they are provided.

Subscriptions & billing #

How much does it cost?

Prices and plans are set by each club, so what you see on your club's channel is specific to them. Most clubs offer a recurring plan, and many also offer a one-off pass for a single match. See Subscriptions & billing.

Can I just pay for one match?

Where your club offers it, yes. A one-off Match Pass gives you access to a single event without committing to a recurring plan, which is ideal if you only want to watch one game.

How do I cancel?

Go to Account, select Subscription, and choose Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not cut you off straight away: you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. See Subscriptions & billing.

What happens if my renewal payment fails?

You are not cut off immediately. You get a notice and a short grace period, typically 7 days, to update your card and try again. Once a working card is in place, the payment retries and your subscription carries on as normal.

Where do I find my receipts?

Go to Account and select Billing History. There you can see each past payment and download an invoice as a PDF for your records.

Account & devices #

I have forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

On the sign-in screen, select Forgot password? and enter your email. We send a reset code so you can set a new password yourself, with no need to contact anyone. See Account & sign-in.

Can I watch on more than one device?

Yes. Sign in with the same account on each device and your plan and viewing history come with you. There is a limit on how many screens can watch at the same time, set by your club. See Devices & playback.

Can I share my account with family or friends?

Your account is for your own use, though your household can usually watch on different devices up to the number of simultaneous streams your plan allows. Sharing your sign-in details more widely is not allowed and risks your account's security.

Something is not working. What should I check first?

Check your internet connection, refresh the page or restart the app, and make sure you are signed in with an active subscription. Those three steps fix most problems. Our Troubleshooting guide covers the rest.

How do I get more help?

If you have worked through the troubleshooting steps and are still stuck, contact your club's support team. They run their own channel, so they can look into your account and the specific match.
