Teams #
A team is any side that appears in your matches, whether it is your own club or a visiting opponent. Each team has a name and a crest, and you can group teams into the competitions they play in. Setting teams up properly is what gives your matches the right crests, clear match-ups, and team-based browsing for fans.
Set your teams up before you create matches. With them ready, linking a match to its teams takes a few seconds. Once your teams exist, set up your competitions in Leagues & competitions.
Adding a team #

Open Teams and add a new one
From the dashboard, go to Teams and select Add team.

Choose the team type
Mark the team as your own (a home team) or as an opponent. This helps the dashboard show match-ups the right way round for fans.

Add the details
Enter the team name and upload a crest or logo. You can also add the stadium name if you know it.

Save
Save, and the team is ready to link to matches and competitions.
Team settings #
Team name text required The name fans see on match listings. Use the full, official name where you can, for example "Manchester United" rather than "Man Utd".
Crest or logo image required A square image that represents the team. A clear, simple crest reads well at small sizes.
Team type choice required Your own team (home) or a visiting side (opponent).
Stadium text The team's ground. Optional, but a nice touch for match listings.

Good team setup shapes how your content looks and how fans find it:
- Matches show the correct crests and a clear match-up, such as your team versus the opponent.
- Fans can filter and browse by their favourite team.
- The more consistent your names and crests, the tidier and more professional your channel looks.
